What exactly is Ziayzu Launcher?
A native Android launcher for Minecraft: Java Edition, built with Jetpack Compose. It handles version metadata, verified downloads, profiles, mod discovery and mobile controls.
Can I play right now?
Ziayzu is in active development and already runs many versions. Some Minecraft versions or devices may not launch fully yet — if you hit one, tell us in Discord and we'll help. Your profiles and worlds are always safe to keep.
Do I need to own Minecraft?
Yes. Ziayzu grants no ownership and includes no game files. Microsoft sign-in also needs the launcher build to carry a registered public-client ID.
Which Android versions and devices are supported?
Ziayzu needs Android 8.0 or newer and ships native libraries for supported device ABIs. If you hit any issue, ask in the Discord and we'll help.
Are mods and mod loaders supported?
Fabric and Quilt install from official metadata, Forge and NeoForge run their official installers in an isolated Java process, and Modrinth discovery handles mods, packs, shaders and data packs.
Is there an iOS version?
No. Ziayzu is an Android project distributed as an APK.
Why does Android warn about installing the APK?
That warning appears for every app installed outside the Play Store — it is not specific to Ziayzu. The APK comes straight from our official GitHub Releases, and Android also verifies it with Play Protect before installing.
How do I update to a new version?
Just download the newest APK from this page and install it over your current install — your profiles, worlds and settings are kept. The launcher also checks for updates itself in Settings.
